The Gingezel™ Fashion Boutique
Share the joy of creating beauty! We mean that, it isn't just a tag line. We love creating the art and design we do. We hope you will find fashion here that combines with your wardrobe to create a beautiful look, or wonderful if as a man you don't like the word beautiful. Our inspiration is the synergy between mathematics and nature. We search print on demand sites for good quality stylish fashion, then try to create the art and design that will make them special. You can browse by Product, for example:
The What and Where section lists the products by alphabetical order and has an image of the product. When we have used it ourselves there is a candid description of what we thought of it .Yes, we want you to shop Gingezel, but above that we want you to be happy with any purchase. Some of these have photos, but we seem to be getting slow about photo shoots. Then there is an offsite page to where you can buy that product. Only a small sample are shown on the website.
Or you can browse by collection. Our work is always in flux, the collections all ongoing. In the collection section, we have both images from our suppliers, plus some fashion simulations. Judi does the simulations in DAZ, and is working hard to improve the reality. However she does not guarantee she always gets the exact scale for patterns or art, so take them as inspirational, not as accurate as a photo would be. We try to have images of enough products to give you a feel for the collection. Off site pages take you to the full collections.
You will find links to a range of print on demand providers where we put our art and designs on their products. Here is a comparison of the POD sites:
~ PAOM ( Print All Over Me) is where we do most of our fashion art and design. They are a relative newcomer to the print on demand business and are rapidly establishing themselves in fashion. We figure if they are good enough for museum and art galleries to use, they are good. What we have seen from their Chinese factory is excellent, equal to or above store quality. If you are not satisfied with an item they will take it back within 30 days and issue a gift card equal in value to the item.
~ ArtsAdd is a site we are just exploring. So far the products we are testing are excellent, both the product quality itself, the printing, and the attention to detail. The pricing is very good. For a POD site they are fast. I'm not quite sure here, but I think the manufacture is in China and the shipping is from the US.
~ Art of Where. Scarves and fashion. Manufactured in Canada. Over the years we have dealt with a lot of scarf manufacturers. Art of Where is one of the best. Please note that Art of Where only allows replacement for manufacture defects, so if exact color match matters to you, shopping there may not be a good choice because we all know screen images differ. However we have found their overall color reproduction very good.
~ Gingezel Prints. Fine Art America encourages artist there to have their own websites powered by Fine Art America. That is what we did. It lets us create our own brand image, but the commerce is handled by Fine Art America and you get their full guarantee. And of course they make the products. They are slowly adding some fashion items that they feel are compatible with being one of the leading sources of fine art. They are expanding production outside the US to several countries including Canada.
~ Society 6 has a growing range of fashion as well as their art. They don't add a product until they are sure it is excellent. They try hard to be a site with attitude. As far as we know they have US based manufacture.
~ Spoonflower has established itself as the place to go for indie fabric and has recently launched the exciting cut and sew Sprout Patterns. They are in the process of expanding production from the US to Germany.
~ Sprout Patterns a cut and sew extension of Spoonflower.
~ Zazzle. Zazzle has an amazing range of product and adds new ones every week, so it is fun to find products there to design on. So far in fashion they have tended to concentrate on accessories. Zazzle tends to be a bit restless, and to occasionally have supply problems. So we apologize if you find a product "Temporarily Unavailable". We never know if it will come back, or is discontinued.
~ Zazzy. Not to be confused with Zazzle. These are Amsterdam based 3D manufacturers who allow us to make amazing jewelry.
